Share server.properties, plugin.yml, configs and code. No signup, no account.
Mostly the files someone asks for the moment you post "my server won't start" anywhere. Pick the language that matches, or the colors won't mean much.
Plugin configs like config.yml and messages.yml, plugin.yml, and Paper's own config files. YAML breaks on one wrong indent, and colored keys make a shifted line easier to spot.
server.properties. It gets the INI coloring rules, which read key=value lines the same way.
ops.json, whitelist.json, banned-players.json, and the pack.mcmeta of a datapack or resource pack.
Plugin source, for when you want someone to look at a method rather than a stack trace.
Start scripts like start.sh and the flags you launch Java with.
Any other config written as sections of key=value lines.
Crash reports and pieces of latest.log. No colors, just the text exactly as you pasted it.
Read what you are about to share. Anyone with the link can open a paste, and there is no delete button.
The usual leaks are rcon.password in server.properties, database passwords in plugin configs, and bot tokens in files like DiscordSRV's config.yml. Blank them out first. If one slipped through anyway, treat it as leaked and change it on the server.
Paste pages carry a noindex tag and are left out of our sitemap, so search engines are told to skip them. That keeps them out of search results. It does not make them private.
Permanent is the default. You can also choose one day, one week or one month (30 days). When that time runs out the link stops working, and the raw version goes with it.
For a quick "why is my server lagging" question, one day is plenty. Keep Permanent for configs you link from a guide or a forum post that will stay up for a while.
You land on the paste itself, with New paste, Copy link, Raw and Download along the top.
Raw serves the text as plain text at /raw/ plus the paste id, so you can pull a config straight onto a server instead of copying it by hand:
curl -o server.properties https://paste.astroworldmc.com/raw/PASTE_ID
Download saves the same text as a .txt file. One paste holds about 400 KB. That is a lot of config but not a whole log, so cut a log down to the part around the error before you paste it.
If server.properties is the problem, server.properties explained walks through every setting, and the server.properties generator builds a clean file from scratch. RCON that refuses connections has its own fix guide, and if your changes keep reverting, here is why server.properties resets.
